Melting
Pot (featured in XLR8R Magazine)
Geometrix
is back once again with a brand new mission. This time, he's bringing
you a genre-defying mix album like no other. MELTING POT is a collection
of "mash-ups", which by definition is blending samples
from two different songs - generally one song's vocals atop another's
instrumental. Musical and racial boundaries disappear when you listen
to this CD and part of the fun is identifying the sounds that are
involved in this project. Geometrix's most creative and original
endeavour yet also features the DJ skills that has made him well-known
and well respected through out the years. Released November 2004.
